QualiJet HS - textile digital printing reinvented

QualiJet HS is a new generation high speed textile digital printer, entirely developed and built in our modern factory in Italy, ideal for high quality production runs on any kind of textile substrate, up to 1.6 m. width at a production speed up to over 40 m2/hr. Over 150 textile digital printers production experience gave us the means to add to this new model the best technical improvements, with the result of top efficiency, productivity and perceived quality. The QualiJet HS with its speed potential and colour control, combined with a competitive price and small footprint opens new opportunities to textile digital print.

40 m²/h Plug & Print digital textile printer

Industrial scale textile digital printing is finally made easy thanks the QualiJet HS top quality print results at production speeds of 20-41 m2/h (1). The machine is delivered fully assembled, tested, with textile software and rip, ready to print. It is sufficient to connect the electric power, water, load the inks and go.

New print heads, speed, safety and quality

The QualiJet HS comes with the new extra wide variable dot Epson print heads, with 1440 nozzles per head, 4 times more the conventional print heads. The distance from the print heads and the fabric surface is automatically controlled by a sensor. A sophisticated laser device checks on the fly each nozzle efficiency and prevents from print faults.

Extra precision with the new belt drive

The adhesive blanket prevents even the smallest movement of the substrate once in position, and ensures perfect registration. A precision twin roll unwind mechanism with photocell edge sensor guides the fabric precisely and smoothly onto the blanket, whose glue is activated by heat, making the QualiJet HS ideal to print also on elastic fabrics.

Rotating cleaning unit

A rotating brush washing unit with open water circuit prevents ‘back printing’ by removing the excess of ink from the adhesive blanket. The entire washing unit is mounted on rails and can be extracted with ease for inspection and cleaning.

Two hot air infrared dryers

One before the printed fabric rewind station to dry out the fabric and the other one just after the washing unit to dry out water traces from the blanket, and pre-heat the blanket’s surface to optimal working temperature of the thermoplastic adhesive.

Open ink supply system

The QualiJet HS can print with all acid, reactive, disperse and sublimatic inks compatible with the Epson print heads, both from cartridge and external bulk feed systems.

Quality and innovation at 360°

The QualiJet printers are manufactured with a visibly higher quality standard that can be perceived at first impact. A lot of substance and a long list of new ideas, like the internal lighting and the rear print head mirror, to a product with a tendency to perfection.

From this point of view you can see the solid and compact machine body section with a minimum footprint and the twin roller fabric unwind station. Also here some smart ideas: a special device with a barrel profile just before the fabric to blanket contact line eliminates all tensions and spreads out possible fabric folds better than any other system. In this position we have also foreseen an optional laser device to track permanent fabric folds that could interfere with the print heads and a visible laser beam guide for an easy and accurate manual positioning of the fabric on the blanket at threading.
